Batch Scan Wizard 6 - Software simplifies high volume scanning

Batch Scan Wizard is a fast and easy-to-use software solution from Image Access for professional management of large scanning volumes and jobs. The software increases data throughput and significantly reduces operational tasks. Batch Scan Wizard is ideal for processing large scan jobs but is equally useful for smaller volumes where advanced operations such as page splitting or extraction of specific areas on a document are required.

The operator creates a job and configures a template for the job. Then all scanned images are collected in the job until the job is closed by the operator. In addition to standard scanning parameters such as brightness, contrast, color mode, or file format, the Batch Scan Wizard allows the operator to predefine specific areas of a document to be extracted, scanned, and saved as separate images. Nothing is lost in the process, as you can reopen a saved scan job and modify it using the cut, delete, paste, and replace functions for each selected image in the job. You can also change the file name or location of the job.

Import images into an existing scan job, using drag and drop or by selecting them from an existing directory. Rename or reorder them.

With the new image editing function you can post-process and correct already created as well as imported images. Even during the scanning process! Once exported, scan jobs can be loaded as many times as you like, their images edited, and then exported again.

The new export suite allows you to convert and multi-convert already created image files to other file formats and resolutions. Here you can also add a watermark or an ICC profile to the files afterwards.

Batch Scan Wizard supports all Scan2Net® scanners and their functions. Batch Scan Wizard´s rescan function keeps a previously scanned image in memory. Color mode, file format, rotation, mirroring, and camera settings can be changed without the need for a new scan. The new settings will immediately affect the image without having to rescan the document. Once you have optimized your scanning parameters, you can save the new images or replace an image in your batch.

The new, freely configurable workflow tracking in the Batch Scan Wizard helps you with information about your files in each scan job. This record includes the date and time for each scanned image, the scan parameters used, the PC used, and the location of your images.

Scan job indexing in the Batch Scan Wizard helps you compile single variables and/or combinations of variables for automatic creation of file and directory names and their directory structures.

The new page indexing allows you to add individual metadata to the scans in a running scan job for file and directory naming as well as for freely configurable workflow tracking.
