In diesem Jahr schnürten 13 Kolleginnen und Kollegen von Image Access ihre Laufschuhe und meisterten die Strecke mit viel Begeisterung. Schnellster Läufer unseres Teams war André Milde, der mit einer beeindruckenden Nettozeit von 21:29 Minuten ins Ziel kam und damit einen starken Platz unter 4.425 Teilnehmern erreichte. Ebenfalls überzeugten Timo Rüggeberg (24:47) und Sven Furgal (25:11) mit tollen Leistungen. Von persönlichen Bestzeiten bis hin zu ersten Zieleinläufen – jeder einzelne Teammitglied trug zu einer großartigen Teamleistung und einem gelungenen Tag bei.

Neben dem 5-Kilometer-Lauf wurden auch ein 10-Kilometer- und ein Halbmarathonlauf, ein 500-Meter-Bambinilauf für Kinder sowie ein Inlineskating-Wettbewerb angeboten.

Wir gratulieren allen unseren Läuferinnen und Läufern herzlich zu ihren tollen Leistungen und dem starken Teamgeist.

This year, 13 Image Access colleagues laced up their running shoes and completed the course with great enthusiasm. The fastest runner on our team was André Milde, who finished with an impressive net time of 21:29 minutes, earning a strong position among the 4,425 participants. Timo Rüggeberg (24:47) and Sven Furgal (25:11) also delivered outstanding performances. From personal bests to first-time finishes—every team member contributed to a fantastic group effort and an all-around successful day.

In addition to the 5-kilometer race, the event also featured a 10-kilometer and half marathon run, a 500-meter “Bambini” race for children, and an inline skating competition.

We warmly congratulate all our runners on their great achievements and strong team spirit.

Visitors to the show had the opportunity to see two of our flagship models in action:

• BookTEK® 5 V2 Archive: This powerful book scanner is designed specifically for archives, libraries, and universities. It delivers exceptional image quality, simple operation, and maximum preservation of delicate originals—ideal for the long-term safeguarding of valuable books, manuscripts, and documents.
  
• WideTEK® 36F: Built for high-speed scanning of large-format materials such as maps, posters, and technical drawings, the WideTEK 36F impressed with its speed and precision. It drew particular interest from educational institutions with a focus on design, engineering, or architecture.

Positive feedback and inspiring conversations

The response to our presentation was overwhelmingly positive. Many attendees were impressed by the combination of technical precision and user-friendly operation.
In conversations with representatives from schools, universities, and archives, one thing became clear: the demand for high-quality digitization solutions is growing—not only in Australia, but around the world.

EDUtech Australia 2025 was a great success for both Image Access and Docuvan.

Organized by our distributor Al-Ola Modern Systems, Image Access solutions were presented at a digitization seminar at the Tolip Plaza Hotel in Cairo, Egypt on February 24, 2025.

The seminar focused on innovative digitization solutions from Image Access and was truly a great success.

Approximately 50 attendees, high ranking from governmental organizations, educational sector and industry attended and had hands-on experience with the products showcased at the seminar.

Die renommierte Universitätsbibliothek Paderborn vertraut, nach einer erfolgreichen Nutzung des Buchscanners Bookeye 4 V3 Kiosk seit 2017,  nun erneut auf die Scanner der Image Access GmbH aus Wuppertal.

Dank der einfachen und intuitiven Bedienbarkeit, der hervorragenden Qualität und des erstklassigen Services haben sich die Verantwortlichen der Universitätsbibliothek Paderborn nun nach knapp 7 Jahren und fast 10.000.000 erfolgten Scans für 10 neue Bookeye 5 V3 Kiosk entschieden.

Neben den Standardausgabemedien, wie z.B. das Speichern der Digitalisate auf einem USB-Stick oder das Versenden der Digitalisate per Mail an die eigene Emailadresse, können die Nutzerinnen und Nutzer nun auch über WLAN und Fotoerkennung von zwei QR-Codes die Scans auf mobile Endgeräte übertragen, ohne das Software auf dem Mobilgerät installiert werden muss.

Image Access freut sich, Teil des innovativen Umfelds der Universität Paderborn zu sein und auf eine weiterhin erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit.

On September 10, 2024, the installation of the first WideTEK^® 60ART fine art scanner took place in the Lidice Memorial Gallery (Galerie Památníku Lidice) in Lidice, a picturesque village in the Czech Republic.

WideTEK^® 60ART is the newest in the Image Access line of wide format scanners. Twice as large as the WideTEK 36ART, this scanner enables contact free scanning of works of fine art like oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, charcoal and pastel drawings, mixed media collages and antique works of art at 1200dpi in formats up to 1524 x 2032mm / 60 x 80 inches, up to 5.5 inches high.. The WideTEK 60ART is an invaluable tool for art lovers, art experts and museums alike for digitizing their collections.

The Lidice Memorial Gallery is dedicated to the memory of the victims of war crimes in Lidice. It is best known for the Lidice International Children’s Art Competition, which is held every year. This competition, originally launched in 1967, began as a symbolic commemoration of the children died during the Lidice massacre and has developed into a worldwide platform for children’s art.

The installation of the WideTEK 60ART art scanner in Lidice marks an important step in the gallery’s history of making art accessible to the world as a powerful symbol of remembrance, reconciliation and hope. Its integration into the memorial complex and its special mission to promote peace and humanity through art make it a unique place that offers both historical depth and artistic diversity.

Watch CEO Thomas Ingendoh discuss Image Access and the future of the machine vision market

From October 8 to 10, 2024, Image Access exhibited at VISION 2024 in Stuttgart, Germany. VISION is the world’s leading trade fair for machine vision and provides an overview of all important trends, suppliers and innovations in the machine vision market.

Image Access exhibited at this highly specialized trade show, to demonstrate their WideSCAN scan line bars and other image processing solutions. The scan line bars come in four different lengths: WideSCAN 12 (305mm), WideSCAN 24 (610mm), WideSCAN 36 (915mm), and WideSCAN 48 (1220mm), and are suitable for a wide range of machine vision inline inspection and other scanning applications. These scan line bars are based on standard CIS (contact image sensor) technology but feature a longer focal range, allowing room for glass flats, transport guides or drums and other hardware.

Detailed specifications, scanning speeds and product brochures are available on the WideSCAN web page. The scan bars come at unbeatable prices of only € 100 per inch which translates to € 1.200 for the WideSCAN 12, € 2.400 for the WideSCAN 24, €3.600 for the WideSCAN 36 and €4.800 for the WideSCAN 48. This means that solutions are much more affordable than the competition, making machine vision imaging a real possibility on the factory floor.
