Traditional scanners depend heavily on PC-based drivers, often built with third-party software not optimized for scanning. Their performance is limited by the host PC’s resources, which are often already allocated to other tasks, affecting scanning speed and quality.
All image processing in a Scan2Net® scanner happens internally, without third-party libraries like JPEG compression DLLs that could compromise quality. Only the clean, compressed file is sent directly to the network, PC, or cloud—minimizing data traffic while preserving maximum resolution.
Operation with or without a PC
Operate the Scan2Net® scanner via any standard internet browser or directly through the built-in touchscreen. A connected monitor allows for image control and scan parameter adjustments without the need for a PC. You can define and store up to 30 password-protected jobs with preconfigured scan settings and network destinations.
