Walk-up scanning with integrated PC
Walk-up scanning is made simple and efficient, with access available through the scanner’s intuitive touchscreen or via mobile devices. This flexible setup allows users to start scanning quickly, with no need for additional computers or complicated setups.
Tailored backgrounds for every scan
The WideTEK 44/48 features a specialized background drum that enhances image quality while protecting delicate documents. This drum remains entirely separate from the glass plate, eliminating the risk of scratches and misalignment.
For added versatility, the drum can be easily swapped between a standard black for high contrast and a white option for enhanced visibility on sepia and film-based documents. No tools are required for this simple exchange, ensuring flexibility and convenience for various document types.
Two versions, upgradable from 44 to 48"
The scanner is available in two versions: the 48-inch version and a more cost-effective 44-inch (1120 mm) version for users with smaller format needs. For maximum flexibility, the WideTEK 44 can be seamlessly upgraded to the full 48-inch width at any time with an upgrade key, ensuring your scanner adapts to your evolving requirements.
Direct connection to wide format printers
The scanner connects directly to wide format printers from Canon, HP, and Epson. Integrated printer drivers ensure seamless communication, providing full feature compatibility with all major wide format printers. This integration enhances your workflow by allowing easy printing directly from the scanner, ensuring efficient and smooth operation across your devices.
Virtual rescan
You can easily modify scanned images without the need to rescan, allowing you to adjust essential settings like color mode, brightness, contrast, and other parameters. Additionally, you can rotate, crop, and mirror images after scanning, offering even more flexibility to achieve the desired output.
This scanner exceeds all criteria set forth in the FADGI *** and ISO 19264-1 level B guidelines.
Powerful software
Achieve exceptional scanning results with advanced features like automatic crop and deskew, as well as virtual rescan. Depending on the device type, options like finger and thumb removal, automatic width detection, or 3D scanning for authentic digitization of textured surfaces are also available.
Our software further supports seamless copying and archiving, allowing you to send documents to various destinations, including SMB, FTP, printers, email, and cloud storage.
